The Instagram Portfolio

M​aybe it's strange or maybe it's commonplace these days, but a good amount of my portfolio is housed in this little place called Instagram. My writing is an integral part of my life. It has been for as long as I can remember. I grew up knowing exactly what I wanted to do with my life and it was always in the words. They were with me as a child in my journals, they carried me through an extensive amount of creative writing classes in college, they taught me how to sell when I stepped into the shoes of the Ad world, and they have stayed with me through all the transformations of career and life. In the last few years, when life started to peak with seemingly disasterous event after disasterous event, my writing transformed. It has gone from something I loved to something that is medicine to my life. I enjoy venturing down the roads of poetry, stream of consciousness, personal narrative essay, and article-style pieces intended for the personal growth/spirituality world.
